OUR STORY
Purple Vibe was established during the 2017 PADI CDTC in Kota Kinabalu with one mission: to target James Morgan to pick us for his PADI IDC. Our passion for excellence is what inspired us in the beginning and it continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves in the superior experience of conducting PADI Instructor Development and in the long-term relationships we’ve built with our customers. MEET THE SUPER DUPER FABULOUS PURPLE TEAM
PAULA
Paula started diving in Brazil, in 1997 and is the linguist master in our team. She is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, English, French and Bahasa Indonesia. With a background in biology, she quickly falled in live with the underwater world and wanted to know more about it. Paula has been diving from Brazil, to Dom Rep, Bahamas, Europe, Asia.
SIMON
Simon is a man of few words but made up for it as a man of action He is an avid underwater videographer, a PADI Course Director, multiple Specialties Instructor and a TecRec Instructor. His vision is to introduce diving to more people so they can enjoy diving, love the ocean and protect it.
JASON
A thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie, Jason is an accidental yet passionate dive master. His dive journey started with an impulse decision to sign-up for a PADI Open Water Dive course, and has since explored the seabed of various countries like the Netherlands, Spain, Canada, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Outside the diving arena, Jason enjoys skydiving and is a finance geek.
RENEE
Renee began recreational diving in 1993 and was immediately in love but didn’t realize that diving could be a career. She spent the next 14 years as the Director of Intellectual Property at a 2000 attorney law firm taking dive vacations most years. Her life changed on a sailboat in the Galapagos when she realized that your passion doesn’t have to be a hobby but can be a career!
At Purple Vibe, in addition to working with Divemasters and IDC candidates, Renee organizes our environmental program working closely with Project AWARE and community outreach groups to help ensure that diving can continue to be both a passion and a career for generations to come!
RANDY
Formerly a Master Photographer, Randy has now dedicated himself to the scuba industry and mentoring other divers. Besides the IDC, he specializes in the Drysuit and underwater photography specialties.
KOSTAS
Kostas was born in 1983, in Athens Greece. He is our gentle giant, having been always bigger than the other kids his age. (and even now!) Kostas has a diploma in Automation Science and Electrical Science but with all the science in his head he decided to look for the elusive unicorn and live the big adventure by becoming a PADI Pro. As one of our Super Duper Team of Course Directors, he is the guy to go to for all Equipment issues.
AMY
From the U.K. Amy has a love for conservation. Enjoying teaching all walks of life about the marine environment and hopes to raise more awareness for future generations!
ANDREA
Andrea has been working with divers on the professional level for a few years now. Many of her students are working all around the world as Scuba diving Instructors. She is also trained in technical diving, and is constantly training and continuing to grow as a diver. She is also very involved in fitness and maintaining and healthy lifestyle.
